A central element of quality assurance at Kräuter Mix is our modern in-house laboratories. Food chemists, pharmacists, pharmaceutical-technical assistants, laboratory chemists and other trained specialists examine whether the various herbal raw materials comply with the applicable valid laws and standards as well as the requirements of our customers.
For identity and content determination physical-chemical and instrumental analytic techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) are used. In addition we regularly check the specifications of the pharmacopoeia as well as the German Food and Feed Codes.
In the sensory laboratory specialists check the incoming raw materials for smell, taste, appearance and consistency so that they meet our own demands and those of our customers.
