Nine young professionals start apprenticeships across commercial management, industry and technology
Two apprentice induction days at Kräuter Mix marked the beginning of an exciting new stage in life for nine young people. On September 1, apprenticeships manager Sabrina Klinger and apprenticeships officer Karsten Krauss welcomed seven apprentices, one dual-study student and one trainee, all of whom will receive quality training in commercial management, as well as in industry and technology-based professions over the coming years.
Over the course of the first two days, the newcomers learned all about the 475-employee-strong company which produces air-dried herbs, vegetables and spices for the food, pharmaceutical and pet food industries. Introductory sessions were held on hygiene, occupational health and safety, fire safety and IT. The new recruits were given tours of the production halls, warehouses and offices to help familiarize them with the company sites in Abtswind and Wiesentheid and to introduce them to their future colleagues and training supervisors.
The newcomers were also given plenty of opportunities to get to know one another, including a chance to cook and enjoy a meal together at the Behringer winery in Abtswind.
The new apprentices at Kräuter Mix are:
- Artur Dering (machine and plant operator)
- Max Dering (machine and plant operator)
- Jasmin Helbich (apprentice in transport and logistics services management)
- Felix Heubach (electronics technician for plant technology)
- Magdalena Loos (trainee)
- Fabian Roth (industrial clerk)
- Lina Sauer (industrial clerk)
- Leonie Schmitt (dual student in Food Management)
- Florian Wächter (warehouse logistics specialist)
Over a period of normally around three years, the apprentices have the chance to gain attractive professional experience in a steadily growing, robust company and crisis-proof industry with the space to develop. Kräuter Mix offers a well-structured apprenticeship program, with joint workshops, lectures, team-building activities and trips as well as support and guidance from enthusiastic and well-trained instructors.
At Kräuter Mix, the apprenticeships offered are based on future personnel forecasts, meaning the company does everything in its power to offer its junior staff permanent contracts following the successful completion of their training.
