That feels like a lifetime ago,\u201d was Harald Stumpf\u2019s first response on being asked what he remembers from his first day on the job. The longstanding employee, who now works in technical services, has been at Kr\u00e4uter Mix for 35 years.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row gap=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]He is celebrating the milestone anniversary at the same time as Jens Schubert, who remembers one thing above all: \u201cthe striking aromas \u2013 which it\u2019s fair to say were quite a bit more intense here than you\u2019re used to in your own kitchen.\u201d The third employee celebrating an anniversary is Rainer Behringer, who incidentally has very fond memories of his colleague, Jens Schubert, who as shift supervisor was responsible for training Behringer back in the day thirty years ago.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A combined total of 100 years<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The three company veterans have clocked up an impressive total of 100 years in production. During this time, they have lived through incredible change and corporate growth \u2013 from the construction of a new complex of production halls and a logistics center in Abtswind in the late \u201990s, through the introduction of the company\u2019s very first germ reduction system, to the expansion of the Wiesentheid site and the recent reconstruction of a production hall with state-of-the-art equipment.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11568&#8243; img_size=&#8221;medium&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;none&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1778668158505{margin-bottom: 15px !important;}&#8221; image_hovers=&#8221;false&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h6><em>A combined 100 years in production: Harald Stumpf, Rainer Behringer, and Jens Schubert (from left).<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row gap=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>From career changes to promotion at Kr\u00e4uter Mix<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One other thing that the trio shares \u2013 apart from their joint career milestones, of course! \u2013 is that a career change ultimately led them to Kr\u00e4uter Mix. Jens Schubert, who originally trained as a chef, joined the company after moving from former East Germany around the time of German reunification to explore new opportunities. Harald Stumpf, meanwhile, switched from working as an office clerk to driving trucks for Kr\u00e4uter Mix between the many small warehouses that were still dotted around the area at the time. For his part, Rainer Behringer was a qualified butcher when he joined Kr\u00e4uter Mix, starting as a machine assistant in production in the mixing team.<\/p>\n<p>All three embarked on Kr\u00e4uter Mix\u2019s in-house training program to become machine operators, after which their paths diverged to follow their own career trajectories. In 2018, Harald Stumpf moved from machine operator in production to technical services, where he has been a cornerstone of the team ever since. Following his training, Jens Schubert went on to earn his industrial foreman certification in food technology through a three-year program he completed alongside his full-time job; he was then promoted from shift supervisor to production manager and now assists the plant manager directly. After first working as a machine operator for the cutting and cleaning systems, in 2018 Rainer Behringer took on the role of assistant and later deputy in a shift manager team. As of the start of this year, he has been one of eight shift managers in the company, working with their teams in a three-shift rotation.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to their long tenure with the company and the wealth of knowledge and experience they have gained in the production of air-dried herbs, spices, vegetables and tea ingredients, all three men and their teams have laid strong foundations for the company\u2019s growth.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11571&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h6><em>\u201cIt feels good to be part of a team that has made a significant contribution to the company\u2019s success.\u201d Rainer Behringer<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11570&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h6><em>\u201cEven after 35 years, I\u2019m still grateful that I got the job here back then.\u201d Jens Schubert<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11569&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h6><em>\u201cIn a nutshell, my job in Technical Services is to transport materials, pick things up, and drive &#8211; to handle the setup and cleanup for production and the machines.\u201d Harald Stumpf.<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cOh wow!
