On Monday, 8th July, 2024, at around 11:20 a.m., a fire broke out in a Kr\u00e4uter Mix production hall at the company’s site in Abtswind, Germany. All employees working there were able to get to safety in time. Fortunately, no one was injured. The immediately alerted fire departments were able to bring the fire and the heavy smoke under control. No information is currently available on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.<\/p>\n
The affected hall contains six production facilities for processing herbs, which were affected to varying degrees by the fire. It is currently not possible to estimate when production can resume there. The fire did not spread to the other 28 production lines. These should be back in operation as planned from Tuesday, 9th July, on.<\/p>\n
The damage to the production facilities is unlikely to have a major impact on Kr\u00e4uter Mix’s ability to deliver, as the storage areas have not been affected.<\/p>\n
