We place great value on sustainability – also at our suppliers. To this purpose Kräuter Mix has an in-house team of experts who support our buyers and our quality management. Their task lies in ensuring sustainable procurement structures and quality standards, qualifying suppliers and helping them in continuous further development – comprehensively. We verify this through self-declarations of the suppliers, on-site visits, our audits and third-party audits.
The focus is placed on product quality, safety and hygiene standards as well as environmental and social responsibility. The aims of supplier development are, among other things, resource-saving agriculture and the sustainable wild crop collection and training of the chief collectors. To this purpose our experts travel around the world. In addition we provide qualified training documentation to our suppliers.
In order to create sustainable sourcing structures we furthermore realize such international projects in cooperation with suppliers, customers and scientific institutions, that also take our social and ecological responsibility in account, for example in the fields of species protection and environmental protection, the cultivation of endangered plants or to create working and level conditions worthy of a human being.
