Three successful training qualifications and three new hires at Kräuter Mix
Three trainees at Kräuter Mix have successfully completed their final examinations with strong results. Melanie Ritz, Max Weickert and Pascal Schüll started their training together in September 2023 – and are now taking the next step together: all three are staying with the company and will be strengthening Kräuter Mix in various departments with immediate effect.
A joint start, three individual paths
During their training, the three young professionals not only learned a great deal technically but also played an active role in shaping the company. Whether in trainee projects, in day-to-day business or in getting to know new processes, they were reliable and motivated from the outset and took on responsibility – qualities that they can now build on after being taken on directly by the company.
Industrial clerk with a broad view of the company
Melanie Ritz successfully passed her final examination as an industrial clerk in February. She particularly appreciated the variety of tasks. ‘By changing departments, you get to know the products much better and can take that knowledge with you to the next department,’ she explains. In her oral exam, she impressed the Chamber of Industry and Commerce committee with a presentation on the ‘quotation process in purchasing’, including illustrative product samples. She is now supporting our team in purchasing medicinal herbs and tea ingredients.
Warehouse logistics specialist with strong team spirit
Max Weickert, now a warehouse logistics specialist, will be trained in administrative and operational tasks in the goods receiving department after successfully passing his exam. What will he remember most from his training period? The strong team spirit in the warehouse and the trust that was placed in him early on in his work.
Top performance in training and vocational school
Pascal Schüll, now a fully trained warehouse logistics specialist, can also be proud of himself – very proud, in fact. He passed his final examination with a grade of 1.3 in the IHK examination and a 1.0 in vocational school as the best in his class. For this outstanding achievement, he received the Bavarian State Award with a small prize in kind and cash, as well as a scholarship offer for further professional training. At Kräuter Mix, he is now starting in warehouse accounting and will also take on the role of key user for ATHENA, the new ERP system being introduced at Kräuter Mix.

Training supervisor Karsten Krauss closely accompanied the development of the three and sums it up: ‘They have developed incredibly well, both professionally and personally, and above all, what distinguishes all three is that working with them has always been engaging and very pleasant.’ Roman Lange, Pascal and Max’s trainer in warehouse logistics, agrees: ‘Even during the interview, I was impressed by their curiosity, which they then brought to their training. I really enjoyed accompanying them on this journey, which has now been successfully completed, and I am delighted that they are staying with us.’
Sustainable promotion of young talent
Kräuter Mix has been consistently focusing on its own young talent for many years. The retention rate of trainees and dual students after successful completion has been almost 100 percent for years. Last year, too, almost all graduates were retained, for example in warehouse logistics, administration and the dual study program in business administration and food management. This is a clear signal from Kräuter Mix that it takes high-quality, professionally supervised training very seriously in order to retain skilled and talented young talent in the company in the long term.
We warmly congratulate our three new specialists and look forward to accompanying them on their future path in the company.
