75 years of LGAD membership for Kräuter Mix
What began in 1951 with the decision to join a trade association has grown into a partnership spanning 75 years. Since July 1, 1951, Kräuter Mix has been a member of the Landesverband Bayern Großhandel, Außenhandel, Dienstleistungen e. V. (LGAD). In recognition of this longstanding affiliation, the family-owned company was recently honored during a personal visit by representatives of the association in Abtswind.
The roots of this relationship date back to the generation of Bernhard Mix’s grandfather. Even then, the decision to become a member was driven by a conviction that remains unchanged today: independent family businesses benefit from joining forces with other companies to represent their interests and exchange knowledge and experience.
To mark the 75th anniversary of the membership, Christian Klingler, CEO of the LGAD, traveled to Abtswind in person. During his visit, he presented the commemorative certificate to Bernhard Mix, Managing Partner of Kräuter Mix. Together with Marco Grasmeder, Commercial Managing Director, and Sabrina Klinger, Head of Human Resources, he also took the opportunity to reflect on the longstanding partnership and discuss current industry topics.

The value of membership today
Even after 75 years, membership in the association continues to provide tangible benefits for Kräuter Mix. As an internationally operating family business, the company particularly values the professional advisory services and legal support on business-related matters, the wide range of continuing education opportunities, and the exchange of insights on current developments affecting the industry.
Another important aspect is the LGAD’s role in collective bargaining policy. Kräuter Mix follows the framework established by the regional collective bargaining association. As a representative of employers’ interests, the LGAD plays an important role in helping shape employment conditions within the wholesale and foreign trade sectors.

Congratulations on 75 Years of membership in LGAD
75 Years of partnership and mutual trust
Over the past decades, both Kräuter Mix and the economic environment of the wholesale and foreign trade industry have undergone significant change. The connection with the LGAD, however, has remained strong.
The recognition of this 75-year milestone therefore represents more than a chapter in the company’s history. It also highlights the value of a partnership that has been maintained and strengthened across generations.
Kräuter Mix extends its sincere thanks to the LGAD for its many years of partnership and to Christian Klingler for his personal visit to Abtswind.
