New training year at Kräuter Mix begins with 11 new young talents
A successful start to vocational training takes time. Time to settle in, become familiar with the company, learn about processes, and build new connections. These are just a few of the reasons why the theme of “giving and taking time” played an even greater role at Kräuter Mix as the new training year began on September 1.
In addition to the well-structured onboarding plans for apprentices and students, which have consistently proven successful, the introductory orientation days have been extended by an additional day. The focus is on team building and providing a positive, welcoming start to this new stage of life for the eleven teenagers and young adults who have chosen to work at Kräuter Mix.
“Especially when starting their careers, it is important to us to give young people a successful start to this new chapter in their lives. By offering a warm welcome and personal support, we create the best possible conditions for that,” says Alicia Münch, Head of Training at Kräuter Mix. Her colleague Hannah Kundmüller from the Human Resources Department adds: “That is why we deliberately decided to further expand the first few days dedicated to settling in and getting to know one another.”

A great balance of training and getting to know each other
The onboarding schedule included not only training sessions and initial insights into the company, but also plenty of time for shared activities. Following a brief welcome and the presentation of small welcome gifts, the first day kicked off with an escape game and a puzzle-based tour through the town of Volkach.
Over the following days, the newcomers took part in their first company tours as well as essential training sessions on fire safety, hygiene standards, and data security. At the same time, there was intentionally plenty of time for shared lunches, an afternoon barbecue, and creative projects such as producing short self-introduction videos.

This year, nine apprentices and four dual students are joining the Kräuter Mix team.
